Chenghua District of Chengdu Strives to Build a Beautiful and Livable Park City

It is the common wish of Chengdu residents to live in a beautiful and livable park city. In this regard, Chenghua District of Chengdu City, in particular, not only aims to develop beautiful park in the form of green space, but also focuses on improving the quality of the city.

In 2018, Chenghua District will focus on further improving the quality of local living space by creating ecological environment and constructing new parks and greenways. At present, it is accelerating the construction of ecological projects such as Beihu Ecological Park, the Second Phase of the Haibin Park, and the upgrading and reconstruction of the Mashiyanyun Park. Yangzishan Park and Bailian Pond Park will also be constructed. With its existing 14 parks, Chenghua District will have its living quality further improved.

As perfect public facilities are indispensable for developing a beautiful and livable park city, many community complex projects in the area are under planning or construction. The project of the Xinshan Community Service Complex has been planned. Upon its completion, the project will be a community complex featuring nine major service functions such as an integrated gymnasium, a community service center, a cultural activity center, and a farmers market. Donglin Community Complex, currently the largest community service complex project in Chenghua District, Chengdu, has also been under construction.

As the balanced development of public services is the key to creating a livable park city, in 2018, Chenghua District will actively push forward the balanced distribution of public education resources in accordance with Chengdu's deployment of “Improving Urban Areas” and regional urban space and industrial layout.

In the neighborhood of Oriental New City community on Baohe Street in Chenghua District, Chengdu, the supporting secondary school for this area has been constructed. Chenghua District is also begin constructing the supporting Secondary School for Yilitang that is adjacent to the Panda Town.

Chenghua District of Chengdu City, with its well-designed planning and high-end residential quality, is expected to become the forerunner of the beautiful and livable park city.
