On June 17, the 2018 China Dragon Boat Tournament (Fuzhou leg, Fujian) kicked off from the Puxia River section of the Fuzhou Strait International Conference & Exhibition Center. The event has evolved into a staple of summertime fun in the eastern coastal city.
Is the venue well equipped to give both the contenders and spectators alike a fun and lasting experience? What about security and sanitation? How have the athletes been preparing for the race? All these questions will be answered in due time as the event unfolds.

An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour through the competition venue assures visitors of the meticulous organization effort on display. Security personnel are on high alert and each entrant is examined thoroughly; floors and mobile toilets have been wiped squeaky clean as sanitation workers scour the venue for trash; and police dogs are also on site for doubly ensured safety. The exceptionally clean and safe environment has allowed athletes to focus all their attention and energy on preparing to put on a spectacular show in Fuzhou.
