There are a group of young people from the Belt and Road countries. They are studying, traveling, working, or living in China, and therefore bound up with China. They have been witnessing the rapid change of China, sharing their own stories about China with others, and praising China for its change.

Recently, CRI Online has been releasing a series of news reports, Youth along the Silk Road Praise China, to listen to these young people's stories about China.

The protagonists of this episode are Marianna Erotokritou and Sofia Erotokritou - twin sisters from Greece. They came to China in 2013 and have already spent four years on undergraduate studies in the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and will continue to pursue postgraduate degree in the university.

During their study in China, the two sisters traveled to Nanjing, Shanghai, Chongqing and some other cities, which gave them a deeper experience of local Chinese culture. Especially various Chinese food left them a deep impression.

Speaking of their favorite Chinese food, both Marianna and Sofia chose Zongzi (traditional Chinese rice-pudding). Sofia, the younger sister, said with smile, "When I first saw zongzi, I felt it so special and interesting that I didn't know how to eat it." Marianna, the elder sister, also recalled, "It is very interesting and good-tasting."

Marianna and Sofia took a lot of video clips about China and uploaded them onto the social platforms to promote Chinese culture. They said, "What we want to praise is not only Chinese food but also the extensive and profound Chinese culture! We expect more people to try delicious Chinese food and understand Chinese culture."

During the interview, the reporter went to Beijing QianMen with them to look for the "taste of old Beijing". In addition to having delicious Beijing food, such as noodles with soy bean paste, and experiencing sugar-figure blowing art, the two sisters also interviewed the tourists and exchanged "what's your understanding about food" with the food stall owners. "When we mention the taste of old Beijing, classic delicacy such as roast duck and noodles with soy bean paste will first come to people's mind. Although we have lived in Beijing for a long time, we are still deeply attracted by the delicious food here."
