There are a group of young people from the Belt and Road countries. They are studying, traveling, working, or living in China, and therefore bound up with China. They have been witnessing the rapid change of China, sharing their own stories about China with others, and praising China for its change.

Recently, CRI Online has been releasing a series of news reports, Youth along the Silk Road Praise China, to listen to these young people's stories about China.

The protagonist of this episode is a Ukrainian artist Olena Iaremenko who was born in Kyiv. After her graduation from the university, Olena once engaged in fine arts works in films, TV programs, modern dramas, musical plays, and ballets, and her oil paintings have been exhibited in international fine arts exhibitions for many times.

The life in China has great influence on Olena's paintings. For example, in her work, Homesick, the Chinese white crane and the red-haired Ukrainian girl together depict a dreamscape of tiny depression. Olena said, "I have learnt a lot from traditional Chinese painting. In fact the whole Chinese culture has influenced my work." Olena is running a painting workshop in Beijing, and she enjoys meeting different people in her workshop.

In addition, Olena spoke of her feelings towards China. She said, "I think that I'm still blending in with the surroundings. It's very lucky for me to have my family, and have a chance to come to China and come to Beijing. I love Beijing. I love China."
