There are a group of young people from the Belt and Road countries. They are studying, traveling, working, or living in China, and therefore bound up with China. They have been witnessing the rapid change of China, sharing their own stories about China with others, and praising China for its change.

Recently, CRI Online has been releasing a series of news reports, Youth along the Silk Road Praise China, to listen to these young people's stories about China.

The protagonist of this episode is Zhou Aile(Bolabola Joelle Zita)from Gabon. She studied in the University of Science and Technology Beijing and now works in StarTimes as a presenter of beauty makeup shows.

Zhou Aile, who has been living in China for 10 years, is very fluent in mandarin. In her view, the Belt and Road Initiative has had a huge impact on Africa in terms of cultural exchange and education.

'The Belt and Road Initiative gives the opportunity for more and more Africans to receive good education in China, which is of great significance to both students themselves and African countries.'

Zhou Aile said, 'Many African friends watch my shows. Under my influence, some young people, especially girls, are willing to go to school and work to have a better life through their own efforts. I am both touched and proud that my experiences have had a positive impact on people back home.'

Zhou Aile, who also appeared in sitcom Happy Together of 2018 CCTV Spring Festival Gala said African girls who performed with her were train attendants on Mombasa Nairobi Railway. 'They're all in their 20s. In the old days, girls at that age were already married, had children and had little chance to work. China's Belt and Road Initiative has promoted the construction of Mombasa Nairobi Railway and brought work opportunities for girls. There are many such projects, and the success of these projects has helped African countries develop and created a lot of work opportunities for people to show themselves and realize their personal values.

She believes that the Belt and Road Initiative is a project for which China, Gabon and many countries are working together. The construction of Belt and Road will yield fruitful results and she expects Gabon and China to have more opportunities and achievements for mutual development in the future.
