Shaanxi Tourism Consumption Festival Launched

The Shaanxi Tourism Group celebrated its 20th birthday on December 28, 2018 with a ceremony held in Xi’an that also marked the launch of the 12.28 Shaanxi Tourism Consumption Festival.

In honor of its 20th birthday, the Shaanxi Tourism Group, together with Jiangxi Tourism Group, a member of the Provincial-level State-owned Tourism Enterprise Alliance, initiated the 12.28 Shaanxi Tourism Consumption Festival, aiming to benefit people through tourism projects.

The festival mainly features the One-yuan Tour throughout Shaanxi and grants discounts every day. Over 200,000 free tickets, 1-yuan tickets and discount tickets were distributed during the week-long event while over 300 hotel rooms for 1 yuan a night were provided. Meantime, the Jiangxi Tourism Group also rolled out 1-yuan tours of scenic spots in Jiangxi province such as the Poyang Lake, the Fairy Lake and the Tenglong Cave.
