The Sihai Chinatown, developed by the TCG Shaanxi Golden Tourism Estate, was inaugurated in Xi’an on April 28, 2019 in conjunction with the opening of the 1st World Ethnic Chinese Culture & Art Week, which featured a photo exhibition on the culture of overseas Chinese, a joint performance staged by international artists under the theme “All people belong to one family,” a talent show of young overseas Chinese and a selection of overseas promotion ambassadors.

With the gross floor area reaching 190,000 square meters, the Sihai Chinatown, a new-generation culture & tourism commercial complex, consists of five Chinese arches, 9 buildings and 3 sunken theme squares which are located in four sections, a design aimed at highlighting the theme of welcoming guests from all over the world.

Boasting the fusion of the elements of five classical architectures from around the world, five arches prototyped on structures in overseas Chinatowns, and five foreign-styled streets, the Sihai Chinatown aims to promote the integration of world cultures, display the history of Chinatowns and illustrate modern commercial trends.
