On March 29, the promotion event of 2018 Basic Education National Level Teaching Achievement Award was held in Bashu Elementary School, Chongqing, China. Representatives from about 400 schools in China gathered in Chongqing, and conducted effective exchange in basic education.

National Level Teaching Achievement Award was a national level award presented by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. It aims to award the groups or individuals that have made achievement in education, encourage educators to be engaged in educational research, and improve the quality of education. The teaching achievement of Bashu Elementary School, Implementation and Evaluation of Courses Integration Based on the Educational Function of Curriculum, was awarded the grant prize from the competition of 2018 Basic Education National Level Teaching Achievement Award.

Ma Hong, the headmaster of Bashu Elementary School said that the teaching achievement of the school was the implementation mode of courses integration. The implementation mode has been formed by nearly 20 years’ practice and probe, and is characterized by ‘curriculum +’. With a core of national curriculum, the mode is oriented by moral education, and aims to make students full of vital energy in each growth stage.
