Over 60 culture and tourism activities to be held in Wuhan during May Day

On the May Day in 2019, Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism in Hubei Province will promote over 60 activities in eight fields with the theme of Young Wuhan, Wonderful Life, showing the charm of nature and culture in Wuhan to the tourists home and abroad.

Among these culture and tourism activities, Yangtze River Night Cruise, mainly focusing on the lights show named Fancy Wuhan has been thoroughly upgraded and will be held during the May Day. Professional art teams will perform at Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan Garden Expo Park, Wuhan Haichang Ocean Park, special streets and city gardens. About 100 inheritors of intangible cultural heritages will hold events to spread the cultures at some famous landmarks such as the Yellow Crane Tower and Jiqing Gourmet Street. Leisure activities such as Recreational Vehicle Camping and Cherry Picking Festival will be held at some scenic spots, including Yunwu Mountain, Cooling Village, Zhanggong Hill Village. Performances will be shown at Hankou Yangtze river side in Wuhan from April 30 to May 1.

In addition, Wuhan will continue organizing more tourist activities for tourists home and abroad.
