On April 25th, it was the third day of 2019 Badminton Asia Championships kicking off at the Wuhan Sport Center in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province.

In men's doubles, the defending champion Li Junhui/ Liu Yuchen are neck to neck with Ong Yew Sin/ Teo Ee Yi from Malaysia. However, Li Junhui/ Liu Yuchen pushed further forward and finally overpowered and advanced to top eight in the final match.
In women's doubles, the Chinese players Li Wenmei/ Zheng Yu defended Kim So Yeong/ Kong Hee Yong from South Korea and eventually advanced to top eight. In addition, Chen Qingchen/ Jia Yifan from China successfully won against with Puttita Supajirakul/ Sapsiree Taerattanachal from Thailand.

Besides, all three Chinese teams in the mixed doubles advanced. The Chinese players Wang Yilyu/ Huang Dongping defended Venkat Gaurav Prasad/ Juhi Dewangan from India while Zheng Siwei/ Huang Yaqiong against Amrullo Bakhshullaev/ Sevinch Sidikova at the score of 2-0, and He Jiting/ Du Yue won over Chan Peng Soon/ Goh Liu Ying at 2-1.
Badminton Asia Championships is organized by Badminton Asia, aiming to reward the best badminton players in Asia. It is the fifth year for Wuhan to host Badminton Asia Championships.
