China’s medical team conducted free medical consultation for staff from a Chinese-invested enterprise in Ethiopia

Recently, invited by Sinoma International Engineering Co., LTD, the 21st batch of medical team for China’s medical assistance for Ethiopian people have been to the site of Sinoma’s DANGOTE project in Ethiopia and had free medical consultation for the staff working there.

The medical team consists of medical experts in the field of cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, stomatology, ophthalmology, acupuncture and tuina, and medical imaging.

Wang Yuchun, leader of the medical team, doctor of cardiology, supervisor of master students, and vice director of the Medical Group of Shangqiu First People’s Hospital, has offered detailed answers and advice to some staff that have raised questions in terms of health issues. Orthopedist Ge Hailong has introduced detailed knowledge associated with daily protection of neck, shoulder, waist, and leg, and provided different patient groups with different treatment options. Cardiologist Zhao Hui has held lectures about hypertension knowledge in the consulting room.

After the medical consultation, Wang Yuchun, representing the medical team, gave commonly used drugs to Sinoma. Cheng Jin, general manager of Sinoma, and other staff of the company expressed their gratitude and praise to the medical team and what the team has done. Wang Yuchun said that the medical team not only provided health service to Ethiopian people, but also protected the body health of staff in Chinese-invested companies.
