Recently, the 24th Summer Holiday Season & Country Gourmet and Cultural Festival has kicked off in Yanqing District, Beijing. During the event, five themed tourist routes for summer holiday in Yanqing have been released to the public, so that tourists can spend a holiday in Yanqing, this wonderful summer resort.

The event will last until the end of August. The Culture and Tourism Bureau of Yanqing District, by integrating local culture and tourism resources, has introduced about 60 tourism products featured by summer resort, mountain climbing, fitness exercise, and culture experience during the event. With 22 tourist routes with eight themes introduced to the public, Yanqing, based on its featured summer resources, has released two-day and three-day tourism routes with five themes: ancient city, natural landscape, colonnade, red tourism, and the Great Wall.

During the Gourmet and Culture Festival, 38 kinds of country food from 15 villages and towns in Yanqing have been introduced to tourists.
In addition, 'Beautiful Yanqing' smart tourism system launched on the eve of Beijing Expo 2019 opening ceremony has over 200 thousand users at present. A series of online activities have been released during the event, including recruiting the first group of 'Beautiful Yanqing' experiencers, creative short video contest, and 'Million Users' tourism gift packs.
