Over 10,000 participants registered for the 7th CISM Military World Games

Recently, according to the news issued by the executive committee of the 7th CISM Military World Games, there are 10,719 participants from 106 countries registering for the 7th CISM Military World Games, and 7934 of them are athletes. The deadline for the registration is July 18.

The games consist of 27 major terms such as shooting, swimming, track and field, basketball, and 328 minor terms.

Among the construction of 35 venues of the games, eight projects have possessed the qualifications of the games, twenty four projects have been completed, and three projects are in the close out phase. All venues will undertake large scale competition domestic and overseas after the 7th CISM Military World Games. Most of the venues can be used for professional training, teaching and national defense education, and they will be open to the public for all-in fitness additionally.

In order to test the venues, organizations, security and other works of the games , the executive committee of the 7th CISM Military World Games has started 38 trail contests in 27 major terms. As for now, the trail contests including wrestling, marathon, badminton, sailing, table tennis, shooting and equestrian have been completed.

The 7th CISM Military World Games will be held in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province from Oct. 18 to 27. It is the largest international comprehensive sports games hosted by China after Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
