2019 China Touring Car Championship Successfully Rounded off

Recently, 2019 China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) was successfully rounded off at Wuhan Sports Center in Hubei province. The CTCC consisted of two classes including Super Cup and China Cup. In the Super Cup class, Zhang Zhendong, from SVW 333 racing, gave an excellent performance and finally won the annual driver’s champion for the third time in his professional career. KIA Racing Team won the 2019 manufacturer’s champion. In the China Cup class, Xie Xinzhe, from Dongfeng Fengshen, won the champion in two rounds, while Sun Chao in Invincible Team gained the second prize and his teammate Yang Fan won the third place, who also was the annual driver’s champion in China Cup of 2019 CTCC with his total score of 233.

The annual award ceremony of 2019 CTCC was held after the competition and invited all winning drivers and manufacturer representatives to participate in. In the ceremony, Zhang Zhendong was awarded the annual driver’s champion cup in Super Cup class by He Jiandong, the vice president of Federation of Automobile and Motorcycle Sports of People’s Republic of China, and Yan Guanliang, the deputy director of management committee of Wuhan Economy and Technology Development Zone and Hannan district.

The 2019 CTCC was held in Wuhan for consecutive three years and joined in China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Festival for second time. The annual competitions in two classes of CTCC gave the audience a great visual feast. During the four-day competition, nearly 100, 000 audiences came to watch the game and over 100 media reported the news.
