The Opening Ceremony of Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival 2020 Launched

On January 4, the opening ceremony of Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival 2020 was held in Jingyuetan National Scenic Area, Changchun, Jilin Province, China. 1,500 professional athletes and ski enthusiasts from 30 countries and regions including China, Australia, Austria, Canada, France and Germany participated in the competition.

At the opening ceremony of this skiing festival, the director of Swedish Vasaloppet and the chairman of Mora Ski Association, Kerifussen Olaf, the deputy secretary of the Changchun Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the mayor Liu Xin addressed the opening ceremony respectively. Wang Kai, the secretary of  Changchun Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, announced that Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival 2020 opens. 

This skiing festival will last until February 10, 2020. During the skiing festival, 9 cross-country skiing events and 19 ice-snow culture and economic and trade activities were launched. Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival has become a bridge connecting Changchun to the world and a distinctive brand of the ice and snow industry. It is a beautiful business card for Changchun's external exchanges. It is also an excellent platform for foreign economic and trade exchanges and to enhance the city's image.
