The Porcelain capital of Western China Ceramics Trade Fair opens in 2020

The porcelain capital of western China Ceramic Fair 2020 opened in Jia Jiang county, Le Shan city, Sichuan province on December 12.The Fair aims to boost the Morale of ceramic enterprises under epidemic prevention,  and promote the transformation, upgrading and high quality development of ceramic industry in Jia Jiang county.

‘Green Ceramic,Quality Jia Jiang’ is the theme of this fair.“33 years ago,  the fist kiln fire ignited in this land. After years of development,the ceramic industry has become the largest pillar industry in Jia Jiang county，providing rich wealth and employment to people here”Gong De qin ,secretary of Jia Jiang county party committee, said.

According to reports, the annual ceramic production capacity of Jia Jiang county is 450 million square meters, accounting for 77% of that of Sichuan province and 7% of the whole country.

Hu Zheng hua, President of West China Porcelain Capital Jiajiang Ceramics Association, said that in 2019, the assets of the ceramic enterprises in Jia  Jiang reached 4 billion yuan. In recent years, ceramic enterprises in Jia Jiang County have paid attention to green development，for example, 271 gas generators has been eliminated and 63 ceramic production enterprises have changed to using natural gas.

JiaJiang County is known as the capital of porcelain in western China. After years of development, JiaJiang County has embarked on a road of prosperity, which integrates "characteristic economy, cluster economy, mass entrepreneurship and innovation economy, and enriching the people economy".
