At the opening ceremony, Mr. Xiao Youcai, Deputy Party Secretary and governor of Ganzi Prefecture presides over the transfer ceremony of Tourism and Culture Festival and announces that the festival will be held in Ganzi County in 2021.

At the same time, Bai Xu, director of the National Center for Safety and Welfare of Genus Equine, awards Litang county the plaque of "Chinese Grand Horse Racing System ".

Tourism and Culture Festival is a large-scale tourist festival co-sponsored by people's government of Ganzi Prefecture and Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Prior to this, Tourism and Cultural Festival has been successfully held for four times by Ganzi Prefecture, which makes the festival become a famous event of Ganzi Prefecture in China and even the world.

The festival will last from July 29 to July 31 which includes the opening ceremony, Tsangyang Gyatso Musical Drama, Summit of Medium-sized and Small Enterprises in Himalaya, Tourist Summit of Mountainous Region Culture, Poetry and Culture Summit, Horse Racing, China Equestrian Endurance Race (Litang Station), traditional equestrian performance, China AUTO Cross Country and etc.

In addition to the main activities in Litang County, 15 supporting activities of the festival will also be held in Daocheng County of Ganzi Prefecture, Yajiang County, Xiangcheng County, Kangding City, Ganzi County, Dege County, Luding County, Litang County, Daofu County, Batang County, Jiulong County and other 13 cities and counties as well as Hailugou, Yading and other key scenic spots.

Litang County, the main venue of the event, is reputed as "the city of the sky", "the pearl of the grassland" and "the hometown of horse racing".The horse racing of Litang county is the county's bright card of culture and tourism.
