On August 10th, the 5th Hanyuan Peppercorns Picking Festival —— Countryside Tour in 2020 has opened in Gymnasium of Hanyuan County, Ya'an City.

Xiao Xiaoyu, deputy director of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. It is reported that Hanyuan not only has built a base of peppercorns industry of 154,400 mu with a high-quality seed rate exceeding 95%, but also has cooperated with 6 counties (cities) inside and outside Sichuan Province to build a Hanyuan peppercorns’ high-quality seed promotion base covering 720,000 mu and has cooperated with Alibaba Cloud to build the Chinese first Peppercorns Industry Digital Economic Demonstration-Park. The centralized processing zone covers an area of ​​1.1 square kilometers with 21 processing enterprises which make the industrial production reach 1.63 billion yuan and has developed more than 30 kinds of seasoning products on the base of Hanyuan peppercorns. Hanyuan peppercorns has won the Protection of National Geographical Symbolic Product, China Well-Known Trademark, Gold Award of Chinese Trademark Expo, etc.
