Well-known Chinese and foreign enterprises gathered in Sichuan to focus on the development of Sichuan new energy vehicles

The Auto Industry exchange meeting of Sichuan New Energy and Intelligent Network was held in Chengdu On November 18.  Guests at the conference included 26 "World Top 500" enterprises and well-known transnational corporations, 2 "China Top 500" and "Private top 500" enterprises, 16 industry leaders, 4 industry associations; The heads of provincial departments, municipal (prefectural) governments, industrial parks and economic cooperation departments.

"Our philosophy is 'safe, energy efficient, environmentally friendly and efficient', and we can use our advanced battery technology to help companies reduce costs and improve competitiveness." The President of Rockwell Automation (China) Co. Ltd An shi thinks the biggest difference between new energy vehicles and traditional cars is the battery. This company has a lot of experience in producing lithium batteries and can help electric car manufacturers in Sichuan.

"Sichuan is vigorously developing the new energy and smart car industries, which is a good opportunity for local and non-local enterprises. This will help Sichuan promote low-carbon transportation and energy transformation and become a pilot city in China and around the world." Francois Maurice, the technical project manager of STOR-H Technologies said their company would like to use its manufacturing capacity in fuel cells and hydrogen storage tanks to carry out more forms of cooperation in the field of Sichuan new-energy vehicles.

At present, Sichuan has the annual capacity of 100,000 new energy vehicles, with the output increasing from more than 400 vehicles in 2014 to 32,000 vehicles in 2019. Besides, nearly 150,000 vehicles have been popularized and applied in Sichuan, and more than 300 charging stations and 32,000 charging piles have been built.
