Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone Officially Set its Development Goals for the 14th Five-Year Plan

On December 20th, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (Hannan) has officially set their development goals for the 14th Five-Year Plan at a meeting.

In the coming year, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (Hannan) will do its utmost to build a demonstration area of modernized industrial creativity, the "green power" development, and the city-industry mixture in Wuhan. The Development Zone will also make the "Car Vally" powerful and energetic. The Development Zone will stay at the first tier in China and first place in the middle-west economic development zone of comprehensive strength. The Development Zone will get ready to build an advanced and powerful area of socialism in 2035.

On the hand of building the modern industrial system, the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (Hannan) mentioned the importance of developing an advanced industrial foundation and modernize the industrial chain. The Development Zone will be focusing on building an industrial cluster of the automobile, new energy, and new materials. In the meantime, the Development Zone will develop "the four special supporting industries" which include smart-home devices, green-power buildings, aviation, and health. In the future, the Development Zone will work hard on promoting the leaping developments of the advanced service industry and modern agriculture industry, and increase its economic quality benefits and core competitiveness.
