Chinese and foreign youth visit Shenyang for a landmark tour of China.

April 29 witnessed the start of the event "Young and Ambitious, Touring around China” attended by 54 Chinese and foreign young people. During their visit to Shengjing Grand Theater, they stood in particular order to form the pattern of "五" and "四" (Chinese characters for "Five" and "Four") to welcome the coming of the Chinese Youth Day that falls on May 4 every year.

Then the participants were divided into the "FIVE" and "FOUR" teams. They took the chance to explore major landmarks of the city that highlighted Shenyang’s core areas of "Industrial Growth" and "Cultural Development". Notably, their routes were also shaped like the characters of “Five” and “Four”.

In Shenyang Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park, the Chinese and foreign youth

are taking photos of the reconstruction models of old factory buildings.

Team "FOUR" specially visited to explore the path of industrial growth of Shenyang, with the route winding from Tiexi Square to Heavy-Duty Machine Cultural Square, the Industrial Museum of China and Shenyang Hongmei Cultural and Creative Park. All along the way, the young minds were impressed by the great changes taking place in the industiral development in Shenyang.

Team "FIVE" focused on getting closer to the culture of Shengjing (former name of Shenyang in history). The young people visited landmarks like Shenyang's Imperial Palace and China's First Commercial Pedestrian Street, learning more about the richness of Shenyang's culture.
