2021 Overseas Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Launches in Shenyang, China

On May 26, the Information Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government held the press conference of 2021 Overseas Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The competition will last for six months from May 26 to Oct 29.

The competition is held both at home and abroad, and the contestants are divided into team groups and enterprise groups. Overseas competition areas have been added in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

The gold awards would be given to three winners, silver awards six winners and cooper awards nine winners. Award-winning enterprises that will start operation in Shenyang would also be awarded to various degrees. Award-winning projects that will register in Shenyang to set up businesses will get incubation subsidies for entrepreneurship. Incubators in Shenyang and technology teams settling in Shenyang National Offshore Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Oversea Talents will, after going through the examination, enjoy preferential policies of rent exemption within a period of time. Enterprises established by high-level talents which are still in seed stage and start-up stage will, through assessment and approval, get Angel investment whose value could reach five million yuan at most. The excellent ones will get more investment and the highest value could reach ten million yuan.
