Shenyang Holds the Final of Overseas Contest of 2021 China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition

On September 29, Shenyang held the final of overseas contest of 2021 China Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation&Entrepreneurship Competition.

The event was designed for domestic and international higher education institutions, research institutes, technological SMEs and high-level talents, trying to promote the translation of scientific and technological achievements in key fields and inspire innovation and entrepreneurship of scientific and technological researchers.

Zhang Shuwei, a member of the CPC Working Committee of Shenyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, noted that Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition has been held seven times in a row since 2015. Thanks to the support of Shenyang Association for Science and Technology, it has collected more than 1,500 domestic and international projects of entrepreneurship, becoming an influential competition in Shenyang and Liaoning.

Wu Zhifeng, Vice Chairman of Shenyang Association for Science and Technology, noted in his speech that the competition has, by now, invested in over 20 projects which are worth more than CNY 4 billion in value. Moreover, more than 30 industrialization projects have been launched in Shenyang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Through the fierce competition, 12 projects stood out and held amazing roadshows. Eventually, "Application of Novel Flexible Nanostructured Electrode Materials in Intelligent Sensors" won the first prize, "Optoelectronic Semiconductor Project: Optoelectronic Sensor Technology and Core Optoelectronic Devices", and "MG - alpha Equipment of the Semiconductor Industry" won the second prize, "Thermal Imaging Intelligent Solution for Non-Contact Quantitative Detection of Internal Storage", "Ruijian Health -- AI Auxiliary Equipment for Medical Endoscopy Based on Digital Chips of Deep Neural Network", and "Swash Plates of Car Air Conditioning Compressors" won the third prize.
