Construction of Tangjiahe National Tourist Resort Proposed in Qingchuan, Sichuan

Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve is the core plate of Sichuan area of the Giant Panda National Park and one of the hot spots of global biodiversity protection, which is known as "natural gene bank", "life home" and "green pearl" of Minshan Mountain system. With a history of more than 1700 years, the adjacent Qingxi Ancient Town is an important gateway on the ancient Yinping road.

For a long time, Tangjiahe and Qingxi Ancient Town are rich in cultural and tourism resources, however, they have inconvenient transportation and obvious development shortcomings and lack of high-end business forms. In 2021, Qingchuan County proposed to build Tangjiahe National Tourist Resort, enrich cultural tourism formats and comprehensively promote cultural tourism efficiency by taking into account the actual conditions such as industrial foundation, resource endowment and regional characteristics.

It is reported that Qingchuan plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan to build Tangjiahe National Tourist Resort, aiming to enhance tourists' sense of happiness and gain. As of January 10, 2022, 6 projects have been completed, including lighting project of the ancient city and road maintenance from Qingxi to Tangjiahe; 45 projects have been started, including strong and weak current transformation, wooden plank road maintenance and transformation, home stay facility improvement and transformation, and cultural and creative product development in the resort.
