"Digital Torch" of Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games Officially Released

At 14:00 on February 15, 2022, the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games launched the 3D digital version of the Universiade torch named "Rong Fire", which literally means "Chengdu fire". This is the first digital torch collection ever released in the over 60 years' history of the Universiade.

The name "Rong Fire" includes the Chinese character "Rong", which is the abbreviation of "Chengdu". "Rong Fire" also means "fusion". The torch adopts the four theme colors of the Universiade, namely oriental red, bright yellow, emerald green and lake blue, reflecting the concept of "greenness, wisdom, vitality and sharing" of the event.

The digital torch is launched to, through digital exploration and innovation, enable more people to have the opportunity to "own" the Universiade torch and also to become the transmitter of the Universiade spirit. In addition, the digital torch with a unique number, which cannot be copied or tampered with, is also an exclusive memory of the Universiade of collectors.
