Four Major Sports Venues Upgraded for Upcoming Chengdu Universiade in Wuhou District, Chengdu

The 31st Summer Universiade (Hereinafter referred to as Chengdu Universiade) is less than 4 months away. At present, various preparations are entering the full sprint stage.

It is understood that the Chengdu Universiade has set up 49 competition venues and training venues. Recently, the city has renovated the gymnastics venue of Chengdu Sports University, the stadium of Wangjiang campus of Sichuan University, Sichuan Stadium, and the judo venue of Huaxi Campus of Sichuan University in Wuhou District of Chengdu. The four renovated venues for the Chengdu Universiade will respectively hold the gymnastics, taekwondo, basketball competitions and serve as venue for judo training.

Since 2021, Chengdu's Wuhou District has been striving to improve the quality of the city and increase the atmosphere of participation. Next, Chengdu's Wuhou District will also carry out a series of "sports +" activities, and actively attract diversified social entities to participate in the joint construction, to drive more people to participate in and fall in love with sports.
