On April 18, a streamer of the post-00s generation was enthusiastically introducing the Renzhi steamed buns in front of the camera in a live stream of Hangzhou Qiugenliang Food Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), which is located in Renzhi Village, Chengnan Street, Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. The white, chubby steamed buns look very attractive in the camera. Via the live stream, the Renzhi steamed buns are getting more and more well-known.

The little Renzhi steamed buns have connected the expectations of the villagers with the responsibilities of the Company, paving a new road to common prosperity.

Villagers Bao Chaolin and Yu Zenglian are masters of Renzhi steamed buns. They ran their own family workshop in the past, but later joined the Company. "The Company has both a standardized production process and fixed sales channels, so we can make money without having to work from dawn to dusk as we used to," said Bao Chaolin. There are more than 30 villagers in the Company, like Bao and his wife, who get jobs in places close to their homes, looking forward to a better life.

Quality and innovation in products are essential to the development of a company. The Company has refined its steamed buns, from the first generation to the current fourth generation, by ancient techniques. With the fermentation increased from one or two times to three times, it takes a longer time and more complex techniques to make steamed buns. The fourth-generation steamed buns not only are able to be refrigerated for longer shelf life, but also taste better.

"We are now developing agricultural specialties such as Miguo, Xiaolongbao and corn cakes, which will be put into production once passing the food safety certification. We will also recruit more young people to join in for more fresh blood into the development of the steamed buns industry." For the future development, Qiu Genliang, the person in charge of the Company, has already had a plan in mind. (Text/photo by Xu Wenjing)
