Thai Culture Lights Up Colourful World

The Seventh Colourful World - Cultural Exhibition of Countries along the Belt and Road, hosted by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality and organized by CRI Online of China Media Group and Beijing Performing & Arts Group, took place in Beijing. Excellent performances of Muay Thai and Khon brought by Royal Thai Embassy in China attracted many audiences.

The Muay Thai performance had won great popularity. Performers of Muay Thai said that they would participate in the events of the Colourful World nearly every year so they could promote their Thai culture and appreciate and learn from the cultures of other countries.

Chayan Yailert, an international student in China, performed traditional Khon and audiences got a good chance to experience the charm of the intangible cultural heritage. According to Chayan Yailert, "Colourful World" provided a good platform for people to learn more about Thai culture, promoting the cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
