Exploring Xi'an's Technology-based Innovation Strength and Cultural Charm: A Visit by Young Eurasian Representatives

On September 22, 2023, a group of 16 young representatives from countries participating in the Eurasia Youth Leaders Forum embarked on a journey to Xi'an, an ancient capital with a history spanning over a thousand years. During their visit, they explored sites such as the Qin Chuang Yuan Innovation Promotion Center, iHARBOUR, and Yisu Theater Cultural District. This experience allowed them to capture the essence of Xi'an's cultural charm and appreciate its thriving scientific excellence. 

Qin Chuang Yuan Innovation Promotion Center

As their journey in Xi'an began, the young representatives' first stop was the Qin Chuang Yuan Innovation Promotion Center. Accompanied by staff, these young individuals from Europe and Asia had the opportunity to know firsthand the center's outcomes of high-quality development. Throughout the visit, the cutting-edge technologies showcased at the center drew their attention. Moreover, they had the opportunity to personally experience these emerging technologies.

Following their exploration of the Qin Chuang Yuan Innovation Promotion Center, young individuals from Europe and Asia visited the digital exhibition hall of iHARBOUR. Here, they delved deeper into the concept, process, and achievements of iHARBOUR. Furthermore, the visit provided these young individuals with insights into the future plans of iHARBOUR.

"After visiting the Qin Chuang Yuan Innovation Promotion Center and iHARBOUR, I came to realize that Xi'an is a city that thrives on continuous innovation and development. The city places significant importance on fostering international exchange, promoting cooperation, and nurturing talent," said Mikhail Evgenyevich Kuznetsov, Director of the Eastern State Planning Center of Russia.

Wrapping up their visit, young individuals from Europe and Asia, led by staff, visited the Shaanxi Opera Art Museum of China. This experience allowed them to delve into the evolution and artistic achievements of Qinqiang opera showcased within the museum. The lifelike wax statues and clay sculptures in the museum attracted these young people to capture moments through their cameras.
