The Ambassadors' Spouses Visit the 'Future City' Fengxi for a Green and Technological Innovation Trip

On the afternoon of October 25, the wives of ambassadors to China from Benin, Gabon, Ghana, Mali, and Nicaragua among others paid a visit to Fengxi New City of Xixian New Area, embarking on an exploration of Fengxi, a green tech city, from the medium-deep geothermal buried pipe heating experience area, the display center of the Hard Tech Town to the SenseTime Technology Exhibition Center.

By visits and listening, the ladies have gained insights into the proactive efforts made by Fengxi New City for the harmonious coexistence between mankind and nature, mankind and the city, and the city and nature. For instance, it takes the lead in the wide application of medium-deep geothermal buried pipe technology and the development of sponge city throughout the region, builds a regional green energy network, and creates a low-carbon, smart, and ecologically livable future city.

The foreign ambassadors' wives were deeply impressed by Fengxi New City for its concrete actions of building itself into a low-carbon smart city and spoke highly of its continually innovative approaches to urban development. Later, the ambassadors' wives visited the Western Cloud Valley to further explore the technological innovation of Fengxi New City.
