2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit, Light of Internet Expo Now Underway in Zhejiang

The 2023 World Internet Conference (WIC) kicked off in Wuzhen, Zhejiang, on the morning of November 7, highlighting the Light of Internet Expo.

This year's Expo is dedicated to "Creating an Inclusive and Resilient Digital World Beneficial to All-Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace" and promises to serve up an exciting array of international, innovative products and technology in a wide range of sections along with opportunities for job seekers and special activities to commemorate WIC's 10th anniversary. More than 580 enterprises from China and 48 countries are expected to take part online and in person, with nearly 100 new product and technology release activities planned and more than 1,200 enterprises slated to publish vacancies for 10,000 jobs on the Expo's Cloud recruitment platform.

This year's Expo will combine online cloud exhibitions with an in-person "1+6+3" exhibition layout consisting of one development concept area, six theme exhibition areas – artificial intelligence, new digital infrastructure, digital technology, future intelligent manufacturing, digital village, and network security – and three unique exhibition areas: the overseas exhibition, the innovation and entrepreneurship exhibition, and the future life digital experience. Online events will include a 365-day "Light of Internet Cloud Exhibition Hall" with ten launch events and nearly 90 featured scenario release activities lined up for eight major themes ranging from intelligent IoT and the metaverse to satellite internet and industrial data valuation, with special efforts made to establish a strong "Light of Internet Release Hall" brand, and special recognition planned for unique internet products featuring at the 2023 Expo.
