Weinan 3D Printing Technology Attracts the Attention of Diplomats in China, New Material Technology Supports the Rising of Industry

  On October 31st, ambassadors and counselors from South Africa, Iran, Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia, Mauritius and other countries were attracted by 3D models during the Second “The Belt and Road ”City Tour into Weinan for Diplomats in China in Weinan National New Material High-tech Industrialization Base.

  In 2013, Weinan Hi-tech Zone firstly launched 3D printing industry in China. Over the past five years, Weinan High-Tech Zone has firmly grasped the main line of cultivating the industrial chain, taken the enterprise as the main body, focused on material research and development, process design, equipment manufacturing, industrial application, strengthened collaborative innovation in the entire industrial chain, and given play to the role of 3D printing industry fund. It also accelerated the gathering of advanced technology and superior enterprises, and took the leading position in realizing the large-scale application of 3D printing in the fields of aerospace, mold manufacturing, medical devices, industrial design, education and training, and found out the “6+1”mode of 3D printing which promoted industrial development.

  Charles Kayonga, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Rwanda in China, told the CRI Online Shaanxi Channel: “After visiting and experiencing the 3D printing technology, I deeply felt the solid foundation of high-tech industry in Weinan. At the same time, I also saw the potential for technical cooperation between the two countries. In the future, I hope the two countries can use universities and enterprises to achieve more technical exchanges and cooperation.”

  It has been learned that Weinan High-Tech Zone adheres to the development concept of “innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing.” It aims to create a first-class and innovative industrial park in the country. It takes the initiative to act, and improve quality and efficiency, speed up the pace of economic transformation and development, and lay a solid foundation for the final doubling of the industrial output value over the 13th Five-Year Plan.
