Diplomats to China Explore the Long History and Experience the Past and Present of Weinan

On October 31st, participants from the Second Foreign Diplomats the Belt and Road City Tour in Weinan visited the Museum and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall of Weinan. Diplomats explored the different images of Weinan in different periods, discovered the history and humanities, and listened to the stories of Weinan's development.

Walking into the Museum of Weinan, under the guidance of the the museum guide, the diplomats are deeply attracted by the mysterious and rich history of Weinan. During the visit to the four exhibition halls: History and Humanities Theme Celebrity Art Exhibition, Weinan Development Achievement Exhibition, Porcelain Art Exhibition and Folklore Art Exhibition, the diplomats in China deeply investigated the historical changes of Weinan from prehistoric period to modern period, and had a detailed understanding of the famous figures of Weinan in each era and the big historical events happened on this fertile land.

What will Weinan be like in the future? Ecological, modern, civilized, fashionable, scientific and technological, environmental friendly......In the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, looking at the latest plans displayed on digital sand tables and electronic screens, Charles Kayonga, ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of from Rwandan Embassy in China, said, "It is precisely because of its profound historical and cultural background that let the city has its soul and root, and it is because of the soul and the root, the city can go forward and become better in the future."
