Foreign Ambassadors' Spouses Visited Chanba Ecological Area, the "Green Lungs" of Xi'an

On July 6, as part of Prelude of the National Games-Themed Trip to Xi'an for Foreign Ambassadors' Spouses, the participants visited Chanba Ecological Area of Xi'an, Greenways Starting Point Square, Xi'an Expo Park and Low-water Bridge of Guangyun Lake Park, witnessing the charm of Chanba integrating ecological preservation, cultural tourism and international fashion.

Now, Chanba not only boasts for its clear and wide waters but also its whole ecosystem. Its wetlands cover 1,200 hectares and green space covers 1528.24 hectares. The water quality of Chanhe River and Bahe River has always remained above Class IV of surface water. The development of Chanba Ecological Area prioritizes building a better ecosystem for the people, and it will further improve its ecological preservation. It is a wonderful place to listen to the burbling of streams, chirping of the birds as well as appreciate floral beauty.

As the ancient capital with thousands of years of history, Xi'an is home to great culture. Chanba Ecological Area will, by combining ecological preservation with cultural tourism, convention & fairs with cultural tourism, build its unique brand of cultural tourism. 

Now Chanba Ecological Area has already become a new tourist attraction in the east of Xi'an as well as the Internet-famous destination in the city. When the foreign ambassadors’spouses visited the area, they hurried to take snapshots since it was a photogenic spot for social media. Moin Farrah, the spouse of the Pakistani ambassador to China said: "This is amazing! I feel like walking in a landscape painting".
