GDP of Sichuan Tianfu New District Exceeds 400 Billion Yuan

Recently, the Management Committee of the Party Working Committee of Tianfu New District in Sichuan Province has convened its 2022 work conference, whose statistics show that in 2021, the GDP of Sichuan Tianfu New Area exceeded 400 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 9.7%, ranking fifth among national new areas.

In 2021, Western China (Chengdu) Science City, Tianfu Xinglong Lake Laboratory, Tianfu Yongxing Laboratory, and National Sichuan-Tibet Railway Technology Innovation Center were established successively in Tianfu New District, Sichuan.

In 2021, there were 217 new high-tech enterprises, 54 campus-institute-government collaborative innovation projects, and 634 national technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises in Sichuan Tianfu New District, ranking second in Chengdu.

In 2021, the per capita park green area in Tianfu New District reached 18.64 square meters, and Luxelakes Tianfu Gourmet Island and Xinglong Lake Community Neighborhoods were rated as national-level community demonstration projects.

The convention determined the main expected goals of Tianfu New Area's economic work in 2022, and to boost efforts in 7 aspects such as green development, economic circle construction and industrial chain promotion, and technological leadership.
