A total of 22 Key Projects in Pengshui, Chongqing Started Simultaneously

Recently, Pengshui County, Chongqing City, China held a centralized start-up and centralized signing ceremony for key projects in the first quarter of 2022. Among them, 22 projects were started in a centralized manner, with a planned total investment of 3.02 billion yuan, and 14 projects were signed in a centralized manner, with an agreed investment of 7.04 billion yuan.

It is know that the 22 start-up projects including Mowei Middle School, Wujiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Cultural Tourism Zone, rural drinking water security projects, etc., covering infrastructure, education and health, ecological industry, cultural tourism and other fields and industries. The 14 signed projects including wind power development, rooftop photovoltaic power generation, etc., involving industrial chains in many fields such as clean energy, ecological industry, and ecological agriculture.

In recent years, Pengshui has given priority to ecological conservation and green development, and vigorously developed ecological economy, urban economy, and economy related to people's livelihood. The county's regional GDP has increased by 6.6% annually, and economic and social development has been upgraded for four consecutive years. Its  total economic volume jumped to the third place, and the economic growth rate ranked the second place in southeast Chongqing in 2021.
