Guizhou Zunyi Builds a New Type of Urbanization to Improve the Quality of Metropolitan Areas

The construction of new urbanization has transformed Xinpu New District in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province.  This charming new city, which integrates administrative offices, openness to the outside world, ecological tourism, culture and entertainment, recreation and sports, business and finance, high technology and education and scientific research, has become a vivid epitome of Zunyi City's promotion of new urbanization development to optimize the spatial layout of the town.

In recent years, Zunyi has vigorously implemented the county-level economic doubling plan, strived for the prosperous town economy, accelerated the development of service industry, and constantly enhanced the attractiveness and carrying capacity of the town. 2021, Zunyi's total economic volume continues to expand, the gross regional product exceeded 400 billion yuan, an increase of 11%.
