International Youth Group Experiences Vitality and Openness of Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu

Recently, a group of young people from Germany, France, Rwanda, South Africa, Mauritius and other countries visited Qingbaijiang District to experience the charm of this international district.

At the Qingbaijiang Cultural and Sports Centre, the group was attracted by the unique design of the standardized basketball gym the moment of their entrance, where they had a good time. "I love playing basketball. It keeps me active and healthy. I will bring my friends here to play basketball if I ever have the chance," said Nicolas from France.

As the location of Chengdu International Railway Port and one of the origins of China Railway Express (Chengdu-Chongqing), Qingbaijiang District brings together more than 30,000 products in 14 categories from over 30 Asian-Chengdu-European national (goods) pavilions. Rui Ting, a girl from Mauritius, said that she was deeply impressed by this visit and would like to visit Qingbaijiang District again for it is such a beautiful place.

It is introduced that Qingbaijiang District boasts a number of business cards, such as free trade zone, state-level economic and technological development zone, comprehensive bonded zone, national land-port logistics hub, China Railway Express assembly centre, etc. The district is now striving to achieve the industrial rejuvenation and help build Chengdu into a park city that is pleasant to live, work, business and travel.
