The solicitation was organized and implemented by the Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone Development and Construction Company, with a total investment of CNY 14 million, to collect the plans for building cultural and tourism development zone of the Sanxingdui Site from around the world. The core scope of the planning is the area enclosed by Guanghan City to the east of Xiangxin Road, south of Yazi River, west of the north extension line of Tianfu Avenue, and north of Sanxingdui Tourism Avenue, covering an area of about 1850 mu. Its research scope includes 1420 mu south of Sanxingdui Tourism Avenue and 1680 mu north of Yazi River (including water area of Yazi River).

The project positioning of Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone aims to build a diversified and complex tourism industry system of "culture + tourism + business +N" with Yazi River, Sanxingdui Museum and Sanxingdui National Archaeological Site Park as the background, Sanxingdui culture as the core, and Sanxingdui image as the brand, to build a large-scale themed cultural tourism area that integrates cultural experience, theme recreation, shopping and entertainment, vacation and leisure, business conference and other functions into one with full field coverage, full function satisfaction and full process experience.

The specific schedule of the solicitation is divided into two stages: the first stage is public registration, scheme preparation and expert review, and the second stage is administrative review. The details are as follows: On October 1, 2022, the Sanxingdui Cultural Tourism Development Zone Development and Construction Company will issue an official announcement on the China Tendering and Bidding Public Service Platform and accept the application. The deadline for submission of application materials is 17:00 on October 15, 2022. In January 2023, the evaluation committee will evaluate the submitted achievement documents. The top 3 excellent design schemes evaluated by experts will be awarded a bonus of CNY 2 million; For the final through the administrative review of a program to give a reward of CNY 8 million.
