Zigong Accelerates Construction of 75 Major Projects

On September 26, a promotion event for major projects in Sichuan Province (Zigong site) for the third quarter of 2022 was held in Ziliujing District Industrial Park of Zigong City. Zigong City promoted 75 projects with a total investment of CNY 46.5 billion and an annual planned investment of CNY 10.6 billion, covering all districts and counties in Zigong, involving industrial development, infrastructure, people's livelihood, social undertakings and many other fields.

Among the promoted projects, 30 industrial projects with a total investment of CNY 17.3 billion, mainly include Highway-Railway Intermodal Storage Centre of Zigong National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base and supporting facilities, CRUN Digital Supply Chain Service Centre and other projects; 27 infrastructure projects with a total investment of CNY 20.6 billion, mainly include the renovation of Rongxian section of 210 Provincial Road, Fushun County East Water Plant and other projects; 16 livelihood and social undertakings projects with a total investment of CNY 7.1 billion, including projects such as the training base of Fushun Vocational and Technical School and the drainage and flood control facilities in Da'an District; 2 other projects with a total investment of CNY 1.5 billion.

The project of Highway-Railway Intermodal Storage Centre of Zigong National Backbone Cold Chain Logistics Base and supporting facilities, as a representative project for this event, is located at the Southwest (Zigong) International Dry Port. With a total investment of CNY 2.5 billion, the project is expected to generate an annual operating income of over CNY 1.5 billion, directly drive the employment of nearly 20,000 people, transport 500,000 tons of goods annually and generate an annual tax revenue of over CNY 100 million after completion.
