'Anyang - Capital of Chinese Characters' Hongqi Canal - Yinxu Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference Held in Beijing

On February 24, the "Anyang - Capital of Chinese Characters" Hongqi Canal - Yinxu Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Beijing, inviting people from all over China to visit Anyang in Henan Province.

In recent years, to carry forward the spirit of Hongqi Canal, Anyang has accelerated the construction of the "Capital of Chinese Characters" to develop toward an international tourist city. In Anyang, the construction of Yinxu Museum and Cao Cao Gaoling Museum has been progressing in a faster manner. The expansion areas of the National Museum of Chinese Characters and the Chinese Character Park have been opened following completion. Anyang Cultural and Sports Center has been fully put into use. Meanwhile, Cangxiang Street, Xianqian Street, and Guangyi Bainian Archaeological Cultural Tourism Town remain popular among Internet users. With the movie "Full River Red" put on, Yue Fei Temple in Tangyin County is now a hot spot for visitors. In addition, Anyang has been deeply exploiting the resources of cultural tourism and sports industry, launching a series of activities, such as the Cross-Strait Zhouyi Cultural Forum, China (Anyang) International Conference for Chinese Characters, and Anyang Air Sports Culture and Tourism Festival. The city has also been actively developing popular tourism routes for study tourism, red tourism (visiting sites of historical significance to the Communist Party of China), nature-based tourism, and air tours, striving to meet the requirements of each visitor.

The conference promoted key scenic spots in Anyang such as Yinxu Site, Hongqi Canal, and Yue Fei Temple, and launched activities under the themes of research, publicity and homestay through cooperation with relevant organizations in Beijing.
