64 Signed Projects at the 2023 World Power Battery Conference in Yibin, with a Total Investment of 106.3 Billion CNY

Recently, the main forum of the 2023 World Power Battery Conference was held in Yibin, Sichuan. During the conference activities, Yibin signed 64 projects with a total amount of 106.3 billion CNY.

In recent years, Sichuan Yibin has continuously expanded its circle and strong chain, and the overall scale of the power battery industry has rapidly expanded. The total output value of industries above designated size has rapidly developed from less than two billion CNY in 2020 to 16 billion CNY in 2021 and nearly 90 billion CNY in 2022. In 2022, the production and sales of power batteries in Yibin were 72GWh, accounting for 15.5 percent of national sales and 13.2 percent of production.

Seizing the opportunity to host the World Power Battery Conference for two consecutive years, Yibin focuses on promoting the development of power battery industry clusters, innovative development, and green development. At the main forum, Yibin City made an industry promotion and held two rounds of signing. A total of 64 projects were signed, with a total amount of 106.3 billion CNY.
