Diplomats in China Commend PetroChina Changqing Oilfield's Highly Intelligent Growth

On the afternoon of June 5, over 20 diplomats coming from 15 countries paid a visit to Changqing Oilfield Yan'an Digital Command Center. The purpose of their visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the enterprise's digital management, informatization, and intelligence capabilities.

Liu Xuemin, Spokesman of PetroChina Changqing Oilfield, delivered a welcome speech. According to Liu's welcome speech, since its inception in 1970, PetroChina Changqing Oilfield has explored 48 oil and gas fields, including Ansai Oilfield. The enterprise has achieved an impressive production record, with output totaling in excess of 900 million tons of oil and gas equivalents.

During their visit, the diplomats displayed a keen interest in the application of digital and intelligent technologies to advance the development of the energy sector. They were impressed to learn that the data acquisition systems installed on oil wells are capable of automatically transmitting critical production parameters related to a range of key processes, including production operation, crude oil gathering and transportation, and oilfield water injection back to the digital command center.

During his visit, Mohammad Masoud Sadeghi, Counselor for Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to China noted, "PetroChina Changqing Oilfield features highly digital and intelligent management systems, which provide robust support for safe operations and leave a deep impression on me."

"Iran possesses abundant reserves of oil and gas. As we work to enhance the Iran-China comprehensive strategic partnership to a new stage, I hope that we can engage in cooperation in the oilfield infrastructure development," said Mohammad Masoud Sadeghi.
