Wuhan Yangtze River Crossing Festival Back after Three Years

After three years, the magnificent scene of thousands of people competing to cross the Yangtze River has finally returned. On July 16th, 2000 swimmers from China and abroad gathered in Wuhan to challenge the crossing of the Yangtze River.

The Wuhan Yangtze River Crossing Festival has been held for 48 years. It emerges as one part of the city, telling the story of Wuhan and also expressing Chinese people's emotions towards the mighty Yangtze River.
