International Students from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology Visited Zhejiang High-tech Enterprises to Witness the Achievements of Digital Transformation.

To help international students at Zhejiang University of Science and Technology gain a deeper understanding of the development and achievements in the digitization of Zhejiang high-tech enterprises, with the support of Zhejiang Institute of Communications, from July 12th to July 13th, 22 international students from 15 countries including Indonesia, Morocco, Congo (Kinshasa) and Iraq, and 8 Chinese students are organized by the Maker Club, the Workshop for Contemporary China Education and School of International Education of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology to visit Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Representative Office, and Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. Co., Ltd., where they participated the social practice event themed "Explore China".

In the Huawei Smart Technology Exhibition Hall, the instructor introduced various modules such as Huawei's 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data, and focused on explaining different business scenarios and solutions such as 5GtoC new business scenarios, 5GtoB and dedicated line + X.

The international students enthusiastically observed various artificial intelligence application scenarios such as 5G new calls and Metaverse.

Through the visit and learning, International students obtained a profound understanding of how Huawei promotes the digitalization of the physical industry with its technological advantages, drives high-quality development with independent technological innovation, and continuously improves its competitiveness in the international market.

Tijani Ameur, an international student from Morocco, said: "I was shocked by Huawei's investment in research and development. It is better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times. The development of Huawei's 5G technology and its contribution to breaking the boundaries of connectivity is truly remarkable. It is indeed deserving of being the global leader of the ICT industry.’

In Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd., Liu Ming, vice president of the company, and Yang Liang, director of human resources of the technology center, welcomed the social practice team of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology.

Sharathkumar VP, a foreign employee of the Overseas Business Department, led the international students to visit the company's exhibition hall and introduced Dahua's "five-full" digital intelligence capabilities of full perception, full intelligence, full connection, full computing, and full ecology to empower urban digital innovation and enterprise intelligent transformation.

The international students were captivated by the advanced equipment such as remote-sensing images and industrial robots in the exhibition hall. They had the opportunity to experience immersive simulated scenarios of digitalization personally.

The application of various technologies such as smart fire protection, smart display and control, and smart thermal imaging have impressed overseas students, allowing them to personally understand the development of China's cutting-edge digital technology and the driving force of intelligence for the high-quality development of future societies.

Stevanie, an international student from Indonesia, said: "I saw a lot of advanced technology products in the Dahua exhibition hall. These products will change our future. I am a sophomore student majoring in computer science and technology. By understanding the working principles behind products and technologies, my interest in technology and artificial intelligence has also further increased, and I have gained more confidence in the future of my chosen field of study.”

After the visit, the international students also communicated with the heads of the company's Technology Center Human Resources Department and Overseas Business Department. They engaged in lively discussions on topics such as technological innovation, corporate culture, overseas business, internship positions, and global recruitment.
