On August 1, the 35th "Wufeng Cup" Soccer Tournament was launched in Ziyun Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province. A total of 1,100 people from 39 teams participated in the competition.

The "Wufeng Cup" Soccer Tournament dates back to 1988 and is currently the longest-running non-governmental amateur sports event in China with the number of participants so far exceeding any of its counterparts. The players are divided into the junior group, men's adult group, women's group, youth group, and other groups.

Ziyun Autonomous County attaches great importance to this year's Soccer Tournament, and achieved many breakthroughs, so as to contribute to its tourism and entertainment sectors through sports competitions. Soccer teams from other provinces and municipalities such as Guangzhou, Chongqing, Jiangxi, and Yunnan were invited to participate in this competition, which greatly improved the competitive level, appreciation and popularity of the competition.
