On November 28, 2024, the UAE-China Friendship Festival kicked off in Beijing, celebrating 40 years of UAE-China diplomatic relations. The event aimed to further deepen mutual understanding between China and the UAE and enhance the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

The festival includes live artistic and musical performances. Visitors can enjoy the UAE-China Market, which showcases traditional crafts from both nations. Guests will also have the chance to experience a variety of rich Emirati heritage products through workshops led by Emirati artisans with the participation of Chinese visitors.

In addition, as a key highlight of the festival, the exhibition of "The UAE-China Art Community: Celebrating 40 Years of UAE-China Diplomatic Relations between–Young Artists Creativity and Research Competition Exhibition" was held at the Parkview Museum of Contemporary Art in Beijing. The exhibition highlights the creative works of young artists from the UAE and China, and will remain open to the public until December 28.
Diplomatic relations between the UAE and China were established in 1984. Over the decades, the two countries have strengthened their cooperation across various fields, including trade, education, technology, and clean energy. Today, this partnership is stronger than ever, as they collaborate on the global stage to pursue a shared vision of development and prosperity.
