On February 26, in a wheat field in Huagong Town, Mengzhou County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, staff members from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company were busy checking for safety hazards in the electricity usage of irrigation wells and farming equipment, assessing the electricity needs of local farmers, and providing guidance on safe electricity use.
As spring plowing and irrigation begin, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has taken various measures to support spring farming and irrigation with a reliable power supply for farmers, supporting agricultural production.
The company proactively facilitated communication and coordination with the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, gaining a thorough understanding of high-standard farmland planning and related distribution network transformation plans. They also participated in the planning and design of high-standard farmland projects to provide more precise electricity support. The State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company took proactive measures to deal with potential hazards by organizing staff to conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical safety risks in farmland irrigation lines and equipment. They carefully examined each line in the irrigation area, keeping a detailed log of defects and hazards, and carried out safety checks on the user-side lines and equipment. Additionally, they actively guided and assisted users in addressing any issues.
At the same time, to provide more convenient services to farmers, they established a fast-track channel for electricity use applications for irrigation, enabling same-day activation, thereby enhancing power supply efficiency.
In the future, the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company will further optimize the power supply guarantee plan, improving the quality of its services and ensuring the safety and reliability of electricity for agricultural production to safeguard farmers’ harvests.
