The staff, in collaboration with property management personnel, carried out a meticulous examination of distribution rooms, switchgear stations, and electrical shafts in high-rise buildings. They focused on checking the security of cable shafts, the presence of fireproof seals, the removal of obstructions, and the separation of high-voltage and low-voltage systems. Meanwhile, the staff conducted a thorough inspection of the community’s electrical systems to identify potential fire hazards, paying close attention to unauthorized wiring connections and improperly stored electric vehicles in residential buildings. Upon identifying hazards, they immediately notified on-site property management personnel and provided corrective measures with technical support.
Additionally, staff carried out comprehensive safety inspections of the community’s charging sheds, electric vehicle charging stations, and corridor lighting facilities. They also provided residents with in-person electrical safety briefings and hands-on guidance on the proper use and maintenance of charging equipment.
Looking ahead, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will continue to conduct electrical safety inspections and fire safety awareness campaigns in high-rise residential communities. These efforts are aimed at preventing electrical accidents, promoting safe electricity usage, and safeguarding residents' lives and property.
