Fostering Legal Professionals: NingboTech University’s 20-Year Collaboration with the Procuratorate

Since its establishment in 2001, NingboTech University has placed significant emphasis on collaborating with legal practice departments at various levels in Ningbo City and Zhejiang Province. In the spring semester of 2005, the Ningbo Municipal Procuratorate organized a team of key personnel from the city's procuratorial sector to deliver the course "Procuratorial Practice" at NingboTech University. Notably, the Chief Prosecutor of the Ningbo Municipal People's Procuratorate personally instructed the inaugural class for students. Over the past two decades, this cooperative model has served as a crucial bridge between theory and practice, fostering an optimal environment for training legal professionals and advancing the development of a rule-of-law society.

The fifth iteration of the "Bringing 100 Legal Professionals (Judges, Prosecutors, Lawyers) to Campus" program

was launched by the college in November 2024

The signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement between the Ningbo People's Procuratorate and NingboTech University

took place in November 2022

NingboTech University appointed five procurators-general and ten prosecutors

as adjunct professors and practical tutors for the law program in January 2016
